THE VENETIAN LAGOON

Minimalism and Serenity

Original Fine Art Photography

Peaceful Serenity

San Michele in the Venetian lagoon

I have been twice to the Venetian lagoon - it never disappoints. I would argue that the best time to visit is in winter, when you might have some fog and mist and the air is clearer, but there are also the possibility of slightly overcast days. For the lagoon is possibly one of the most perfect locations for minimalist photography.

If you are a photographer, be sure to take a tripod and some filters so that you can capture the most wonderful silent calming scenes imaginable.

With a distinctly different feel to the hustle and bustle of Venice itself, the lagoon and places like Burano are for quiet contemplation with an aperativo!

These images will be available soon as fine art prints.
