KYIV

The capital of Ukraine and a hero city

Original Fine Art Photography

Beautiful and Heroic

Saint Volodymyrs Cathedral in central Kyiv

I was lucky enough to spend nearly three years living and working in Kyiv. It is traditionally known as ‘the city of seven hills’ like Rome, although it has more, with its wide cobbled boulevards in the centre and a huge green area along the banks of the Dnipro river that flows through it, it is quintessential east european city.

Even now, despite the consequnces of war, it retains its heroism and discernable beauty. And above there is always the most remarkable sense of big skies. This collection represents some of my favourite locations in Ukraine’s wonderful capital city.

Is there a particular image that inspired you, or made you stop and consider? If that is the case, you might want to know more about the photograph and in some way have the image for yourself. For now, you and I don’t know how you would like it, beyond that you might. If that is the case, write to me and we can discuss the image further. I won’t pressure you in any way, but we can try and find a way for you to be part of the art.

So, do fill out the form below, if you can put in the name of the image, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

If not, I thank you so much for visiting my website, and I do hope you will return soon. Also check the other cities below.
